Who Is Avian?

So I was browsing on CS's Instagram and saw a dog named Avian. Turns out he/she is the dog on the chicken smoothie logo at the top of the page. When I was looking on Tess's page to find him/her, I saw that they were over 1000 days old but the rarity was unknown. I also couldn't find them on the archives.
Can someone far more experienced then me explain?

Avian is Tess's OC (Original Character) and pretty much the mascot of Chicken Smoothie (along with Totoro - the bird that you see with him a lot, who was based off of Tess's irl pet.) All the Avian pets that Tess has are custom pets - quite a few staff members have customs. You can read more about customs here and you can view a bunch of other staff customs here!

Also, make sure you don't bump your topic until it's fallen off the first page of the board it's in, bumping early is considered spam. In the help board, it usually takes at least a few hours.

Hello there!

Avian, as you have noticed, is the dog at the top of the page. Avian's friend Totoro (the bird) is featured beside Avian.

As they are mascots, neither Avian nor Totoro are actual collectible pets in the Chicken Smoothie archives. They are symbols of CS, and lead CS's annual events (Summer Vacation, Halloween, etc). That being said, there are two (I think?) custom "Avian" pet that belongs to Tess (below). She uses these pets for event dress-ups in the site news. There are several other custom pets that belong to staff members. To my knowledge, these special pets have been around since this site started way back in 2008. Again, these are custom pets, and are not available to us users.
