so as some of u know im opening a species??? thing?? its like a masterpost for species [but most of it is disgruntled bird things like the boye above]
n the theme is a toy capsule machine
one idea i have is there are normal adopts and "special" adopts
the normal ones have normal comps like raffles or personalities or art,, whatever
but the special adopts are won from a capsule machine
basically every time you enter a comp you may get a few coins [gotta think of a name] and then you can use those to get a capsule with a random species with random traits [lots of colors, wings, ect] or even a new unique or rare creature [depends on the result from a number generator]
you can breed them but im thinking only with the same species? cause i dont really want to make 20 linearts for every combination,, but they could be custom lined??
the biggest issue i see with this is that if this is to work the center would need a lot of people interested and trying out for the adopts and a lot of artists that would be willing to do a lot of edits, especially on creatures that were bred together but i cant think of a simpler way
unless you have to trade in pets or c$ for the coins but lets be honest i dont think thats worth it lmao
i could also give everyone a few coins as a start and they can get a few creatures and then uhhhhh idk
