I would like to ask, how could I make the scales look more realistic? I'm having trouble changing from paper to digital, so any tips are more than welcome!

To do realistic scales you have to use a realistic shading technic... I use airbrush, coloring a dark silhouette with this tool settled in a brighter color the lightened parts of the drawing. With this technic you can do the scales as well, just by coloring the lightened part of each scale or making tiny, bright dots arround the body.

Sorry if this is confusing... I am not so good at explaining these things. But well, I tried ^^

Thanks so much for the tips! I really hope to get the hang of all this soon. I'm so much better with a piece of paper and pencil:D
Next time I draw another dragon, I will be sure to give this a try.
