I've been ripping my hair out for the last 3 days trying to make green and purple look decent together because a client decided to give me a palette that involved those two colors exclusively.
So here's a quick lesson on color theory to all who are interested:
YELLOW is purple's complimentary.
RED is GREEN's complimentary.
Purple + Yellow = yes
Green + Red = yes
Purple + Green = NO (Unless you're the incredible hulk or have a thing for the 80's)

Haha it was actually inspired by him, I had to give a presentation on him in high school and his aesthetic kind of stuck

green and purple can actually work sometimes, though!
think spike from mlp, you really just need the right shades.

of course, I don't know what palette you're using, so they
might not be 'the right shades'.

aside from that, this is really nice!

It was a scene involving grape purple and an almost neon green :,) I kind of just nudged the purple to a dark, un-saturated wine color and then made the green go into chartreuse
