why you want the position; because i never really grew up from my sparkledog-loving kid self, and frankly speaking i never made enough designs. these lines are really cute and the community seems great fun so far!
are you comfortable doing lineart edits?; not really, but i'm willing to try once i'm back on desktop!

Strong first entry! I like the colors you chose.
However, I do think the markings are a bit mmmm...... all over the place? And while a touch of randomness is good, I don't see any central theme at first glance. I do like the hair--- the hair is good, but the body is lacking a bit of controlled chaos.
I'd like to see more from you, however, I think you have potential!
