Welcome to Lost River Peryton's artist competition! This is an ongoing artist competition, which means I'll come back to look at this periodically and select any artists that I think may be a great addition to the community. If you are entering, please make sure to read everything here, and look at the species info thread!

- Do no color this in to make your own character, for fun, etc. This is only for an artist competition, and LR Perytons are a closed species.
- Do not harass others, beg, or spam.
- Please do not edit the lines.
- Please make a cover to put your entries under.
- Do not remove the fake sign.
There are currently two options available for position: guest artist and permanent artist. Guest artist work for month, and are allowed one non-legendary custom. Permanent artist are with the adopt, well, permanently. Permanent artist are allowed one non-legendary custom every month they are active as well as one legendary custom upon hire.
Perytons are a genetics based species, with a majority of inspiration & ideas coming from real-life animals. They have specific base coats and markings, but you also need to pay attention to the wings. The wings can either a) match the base coat, and if so, will be affected by piebald or b) do not match the base coat and instead are brightly (or naturally) colored like a bird's.
While remembering the rules, please go wild! Show me your best and most creative designs! This species will constantly be updated with new genes, so if you think you have something cool up your sleeve that matches the species, please show me - I'd love to see it c;

this graphic can help you. The first line is laced piebald, the middle line is rounded piebald, and the bottom line is splashed piebald.
If you have any questions or need help, please let me know! I'm still adding visual examples to the info thread, but should be finished very soon. I can get a little confusing, too, so if you need something cleared up, please ask and I'll help!
