Lost at Night

"Something touched me, What was that?!" Adrind hissed as she leaped closer to Lumis. She was not thrilled with Lumis at the moment and just wanted to be back at the resort.
"It was nothing, just a little sprout." Lumis reasurred her companion. She inhaled the crisp night jungle air as she closed her eyes. The jungle wasn't as pleasant as she was expecting it to be in the dark. Lumis glanced down at the map at her feet. "I believe the resort is back this way, even though we might have to go through a pond or two." She grinned as Adrind's eyes wided.
"You know I should be in my nice warm bed right now instead of lost in the woods with you! Do you even KNOW where we are?" The little black cat did a dramatic drop to the ground as she spoke.
Lumis nodded and pointed her nose to the narrow path ahead of them. "This way Adrind," She rolled her eyes as she picked up the map and started to trot off, "Just so you know I will be leaving you back at the resort tomorrow during the jungle tour."
