Jasper flickered in her sleep as her dream arose from her thoughts, as if sprouts piercing the concrete floor.
"Jasper, We should talk" Mewed Layla , her head turning away from Japser in such a motion that shook the floor beneath them. Jasper gazed over at her girlfriend, wide eyed as her throat tightened with uncertainty.
Before she could hear Layla's words her heart clenched with pain, twisting and aching as if it were to break. Jasper sat up from her bed in a cold sweat , as if the outside storm had leaked over her drowning her in her sorrow.

Okay. This may sound a bit weird at first?
Millie, since she was a kid, had an obsession with her plant cactus. This cactus pretty much grew up with her, she would legit say to people that her boyfriend C is the most prickliest when he's dehydrated. Everyone thought she was talking about another little boy, and she imagined him as a boy sometimes, thinking he would be the handsomest.

Until that fateful day.

Millie had just turned 13 and she was now supposedly "Dating" her cactus who was also her imaginary friend. Her family went for a trip to this cool jungle place and she wandered off with her Cactus, she wanted him to see the big waterfall. She was still unusually small, her shortness got people to guess her age wrong; Millie was trying to put Cactus on a vine so she could swing him so he could see the waterfall and swing at the same time but she slipped and Cactus crashed out of the vine and his pot cracked and shattered.
Millie tried to put the pot back together but it didn't work, she got up and held her Cactus in some dirt to keep him from pricking her. His spikes were extra spikey. Probably dehydrated.

"Oh, so you wanna know about my love life, huh?" Lucia asks. She giggles a little. "Well, come sit here. I guess I can tell you."

She lays down, crossing her paws. "Now, it started one morning at the beach-" As she begins to tell her story, another Starshine pads up behind her.

"Lucy~ are you telling everyone how handsome I am again? You know Zade always gets jealous when you say that," He jokes. "It's because he secretly loves me," He adds with a smirk.

A third Starshine appears. "Yeah right, Blaise. You wish!" He sits down besides Lucy.

Lucia scoffs and rolls her eyes. "Anyway, I met him at the beach and it was love at first sight. Well... for me anyway." She glances at Blaise as she says this. "I had never met him before. We became close friends. But what I didn't know was that he met a different girl around the same time. He liked her. I never really confessed my feelings, so it wasn't his fault. When I showed up at the beach one day and saw them together I was heartbroken."

She pauses for a moment. "He saw me crying and came to see if I was okay. He told me we were more like siblings." She smiles. "But I'm glad that it turned out the way that it did. Blaise is way too stinky to be with anyway." She sticks out her tongue at him. Blaise laughs and shakes his head.

"A few months later, Blaise introduced me to his friend Zade. Now, I can't say it was love at first sight this time. I was too mature to believe stuff like that anymore. But we did fall in love alright." She smiles brightly and leans against Zade.
"And Blaise is still with Amber so it's all good!"

She stands up. "Well, it wasn't too dramatic but I hope you enjoyed it. I better get going." She waves and walks off with Blaise and Zade. As they are walking a female Starshine joins them, walking alongside Blaise. They all seem happy and carefree as they bicker playfully.

She believed she had found a love meant to last. For a while, he shared her viewpoint, he cared about her, he loved her. They were once held together by a strong bond which carried them through thick and thin.

This is nothing but a memory now.

It all started when her lover seemed to grow distant. He was annoyed by how they were constantly joined at the hip. Eventually, he began searching for a new romantic interest. He was soon spending more time with other potential partners rather than Desiree. Her curiosity had peaked and it ended up getting the best of her.

Something was up, she knew it. She took every chance that was presented to her to come one step closer to understanding just what that was. Sure enough she found the answers she was looking for. Her other half was no longer hers. He had pushed their relationship away and made room for a new one. Desiree's world was shattered.

She only had eyes for him. He didn't. She cherished every moment with him. He didn't. She wanted to be with him. He didn't.

Her findings had a negative impact on their feelings towards each other. Their relationship had become a mess of awkwardness, nervousness and fake smiles. Everything was forced for the sake of not directly addressing reality. Desiree was boiling in her own blood, but she kept silent. However, things were only worsening. Soon enough they were led to the arguement that ended it all.

It was admittedly one of the toughest situations she had ever had to deal with. Both during and after their fight. But she accepted that life moves on and so should she. She worked and successfully got herself back together. In fact, she could say she felt better than before. She was no longer held down emotionally by a sinking relationship. She was finally free and ready to make the most out of it.

Story-
She had missed the last train and there was only one person she reconized here anymore, the train leaving with her crush riding.. a few of her friends as well, ever since that night, she kinda just called it the "dissappearing train" just like the myth.. since anyone who rode that train, stayed at the place they chose to go, and wouldn't come back and forgot who their previous friends were.. or whoever decided not to go at the time, that were also forgotten...

This story is known throughout the city.. Though First she didn't think it was true so her friends got rides on the train number "42"
the one that had a straight trip to Monikia's home in england.. she lived in england before moving to a place her dad told her to go.. he never said what this place was called.. she has been here for around probably five years.. she felt ready to go see her dad again.. to see if he would accept her crush as her boyfriend.. but.. She stayed with her friend that she knew in this new city, a Stray cat named Locks, since the cat had a heart locket around its neck..

"Don't worry locks, i miss them too.."
"Moni, its not that, its just i get a bit lonely you know? thats why i told you to stay!"
"Fine.. until i find a home here, or a way to get back home.."

A paper form flew in Monikia's face.. it was about a cabin that had a bunch of pets hanging at it, "realkitty adopts" the form mentioned..

"I know what i can do, i can use this ticket to travel on train 13 to the city that is near the forest with the cabin at it.. and go there! they are likely going to accept me in.. "
"But what about that Dene thing that could land on your face randomly?"
"Then we can both go.. Like we always do.. You in Locks?"
"Im in.." The small cat nodded.

Monikia and locks went to the train station, to get another ticket..
using the money they had from moni's dad.. They now just had to get the go-ahead on getting on the train and leaving this unknown city...

"Don't worry, if we don't get to see your dad.. we can at least find a place to stay.. My best friend.."

(Wow, well that was a 400 WORD story!

Prompt (400/400): Priscilla has fallen in and out of love many times before. Or, could she really call it ‘love’? She was never exactly sure. She had never been in a relationship previously and almost felt as if she had no feelings at all. She would find others attractive, yes, but she could never grasp the concept of ‘falling’ for someone. It was hopeless to her, perhaps. As she pondered, a quiet, innocent feline like herself – a female with no intention towards finding a partner - was that really okay? Was that something that she, herself and others would be okay with? She was not sure.

Though, she found herself stuttering on those words once a special male entered into her life. She looked at him with stars in her eyes, gazing from a distance as her heart began to pound. There was no way this could be real, right? Just before she felt emotionless – unable to feel for others or think that anyone could feel for her. Yet, this feline – the way he spoke and moved excited her. His energy and bubbliness radiated onto her, making her feel energised and refreshed with every moment they spent together. Was this love; She questioned to herself, or was it just a simple friendship?

As time passed, the two became closer. Their bond grew stronger with every passing day, though, something felt off. She trusted him, as a friend, as a partner, a lover in time, perhaps. But with every passing week he spoke to her less. She was confused, scared, even. Worried that she had done something wrong to upset the male.

She confronted him about the issue, asking why they didn’t hang out like they used to, and questioning the awkwardness which lingered between them.

“Priscilla, I’m… Sorry but, I’m in a relationship now. I’ve been spending more time with my girlfriend. But – I’m sure the two of you could be great friends! –”

His speech was interrupted by a single tear that rolled down her cheek. She was shocked, unaware that she was crying. She wiped the tears away and smiled, pushing away the feelings of dread which curled inside of her. Something broke inside of her, she felt it, something she felt she could never fix. But she had to smile, she had to be happy, for him. For them.

He fell in love. Not with her, but with another.
