I absolutely love love love your art and designing!
I couldn't decide between some palettes, so I hope you don't mind if I let you choose?
just some notes/preferences/ideas for the palettes given, to give you some inspiration, from left to right:

1. fireflies at night - I love the idea of either bright, fiery colors against dark, cool tones, or markings in 'layers' in somewhat a gradient. I believe I prefer this palette above the others.

2. cherry - I'm not too excited about this palette, but still, go with your ideas c:
3. dreamy sunset - nothing much to say

4. amethyst sky - not much
5. summer sunshine - perhaps you could include some faint fish scale markings somewhere, or make them somewhat aquatic?
perhaps you could include some gold-rimmed glasses on him/her, similar to the ones that Cricket (from Wings of Fire) is wearing?
above, all the ideas and songs and such that I suggested are just ideas; you don't have to follow them! feel free to add or subtract from the palette(s) and do what you want c;
