So this is an idea I had last night, idk why, don't ask ;p
So basically Birch and Lillian are this sweet couple who met late in school and hit it off in almost about a month, after they talked about themselves, some shared interests like history, music, and this really cool tabletop RPG they play with a group, but it took them about 65 dates before they finally declared their partnership vows. The only creatures who knew they were both trans were Birch and Lillian's friends, doctor, and of course each other. They haven't really come out until they desired to have a litter, and they promptly got on the local news because this was the first time anyone transgender had had biological children while retaining their biologically assigned roles.
The drawing above is actually a photograph on a blue screen, because dogs actually know what they are in the world of Pawzone, primarily because they were around humans much more than cats were before a cataclysm wiped them all out. The price for the shoot was rather reasonable, mostly because the photographer wasn't really that professional yet, hes just a rookie
I pity that poor doctor tho, attempting to use the correct pronouns for the two, especially when their litter was born that was a doozy for her (Lillian was called a she at one point by her. He wasn't offended.)
