Ruben is the most American-whos-not-from-america dog. Ruben is a Golden Retriever originally from España and is in the USA for one of those foreign exchange student programs. He loves fútbol (but he'll watch the American version too.) He's sporty but has a big heart and loves learning new things. Gets easily exicited, like going to the big supermarkets (you guys have 500 different types of cereal?!?) He hopes to live permanently in the USA in the future but for now he's fine with just visiting. He has befriended Vincent (dif character of mine) but is living with a Mexican family to help him learn English (and also speak Spanish with him to not make him feel alone.) He has a Spanish accent and sometimes speaks broken English (but he's trying his best!) - story-line so he fits into my lil universe
