From the perspective of the consumer, Skolion Labs looks nothing more than a pet store that trains dogs. From the perspective of a scientist, it's an artificial dog factory. Dogs here are created artificially by injecting certain genes and hormones into a fertilized egg. The egg is grown in a chamber filled with fluid and is put into a testing room to determine if it is safe or hostile. Often these dogs will end up as "misfits" and will be stored away in a separate part of the lab. These "misfits" are either hostile or don't look right, for example, an extra paw on the forehead. By law they can't be killed so they are kept away from view.

Our produc- er, adoptions consist of normal dogs, cerberuses, and puppies. If you want a misfi- uh, a really good guard dog, you can have one but you'll have to deposit an extra fee.
