Midsummer's meeting

Every Summer solstice, the animals of wisteria grove group together in lavender valley to make a pact to help each other out with getting food in the winter. The pact went like this:

. Any extra meat you find will go to the meat hole
. Anyone who dies during the winter will be burried so that the plants can grow healthy in spring
. Always help those in need of food
. Never resort to hunting other animals in times of hunger
