Soulmates-
Soulmates are an odd thing. A child is born with the eye color of their color mate, and the first words their soulmate will say to them and how their voice sounds play in their head constantly. When two soulmates meet, and they have eachother's words and voice, they are able to become full citizens.
Black-Wings are animals with no soulmate, and they are shunned in society.
[Note: Some black wings are true animals, their mate's eye color is just black. If a Black-Wing reached 20 before meeting their soulmate, they are shunned.]
