found a old species I made when I was younger a year or two ago. Decided to revamp them and make them into a species on cs :]
What are Xiriths?

Xiriths (ZEER-IF) are an alien species from a faraway planet called Xiri, which is not from Earth's solar system. Xiriths are omnivorous, warm-blooded mammals with very fluffy fur. Xiriths mostly consume fruits, fish and small animals that come from their homeplanet. They use their tails to squeeze their prey, similarily to a snake. When not hunting, they use it as a grasper to hold things since they don't have hands. Their antennae give them excellent hearing, they can hear the quietest sounds and hear from miles away. They were definitely built to be predators excellent at hunting. They're about the size of a maine coon cat.
Xiriths are not wild, feral animals. They've evolved to being a civilized species. Xiriths are actually not all that futuristic and their technology isn't super advanced like most people would expect from alien races. The style of xirith life and how their cities look is very similar to the 1950s era. Humans are more advanced than xiriths technology-wise, they don't have technology like computers, phones, movies and more. Xiriths live in tall apartment buildings called hives, which is where all xiriths are born and will live in for the majority of their life. Compared to cities on Earth, xirith cities are massive, buildings and the planet Xiri in general is much more vibrant and colorful compared to Earth. Xiriths also love music; they love singing, dancing and playing instruments. You'll most likely always hear music when walking down a xirith city, they think of music as something beautiful and its a way that most xiriths bond, it is a big part in xirith culture. Festivals and parties are hosted almost every day and are a very common form of entertainment for xiriths since there isn't much to do. Usually xiriths can share music, chat, play games or enjoy a buffet. Despite being built to be predators with excellent hunting skills, xiriths evolved to become a peaceful and chill species, they try their best to solve problems in a civilized manner and are usually against resolving things with violence and anger. They just don't have time for that kind of stuff, they'd rather move on with it asap and go back to whatever they were doing. The best way to describe xirith society is that they just want to party all day and spread good vibes. Xiriths have their own language, xirithian, but they've also adopted the english language which is what they use more often due to it being a common language used by many alien races across the galaxies. A few xiriths have adopted other common human languages though.

*Editing your xirith(s) in any way is not allowed
*Do not make your own xirith(s) as this is a closed species
*You may make your xirith your fursona as long as you have the permission of the artist who created the xirith
*Gifting and trading your xirith(s) is allowed but please tell me if your gifting it away so I'm aware of the owner change
*When using your xirith(s) for something, please always be sure to credit me for creating the species and the artist for designing it
*If you no longer want your xirith, reselling it for money/pets/etc. is not allowed. If you no longer want yours then you must PM me about it so I can put it up for adoption again
