"What are rabbirbs?"

Rabbirbs are a species that appears to be rabbits with bird features, or birds with rabbit features..? Who knows. Rabbirbs can be pretty shy and jumpy at first, so you'll need to have patience with gaining their trust. When you do though, rabbirbs can be very sweet and would love having cuddles or whistling a tune for you. It's easy to break a rabbirb's trust though, so be careful. Rabbirbs speak like birds, in whistles and chirps. They can mimic other noises and tunes they hear like some other bird species. They feed off of mainly fruits, berries and nuts. Rabbirbs do have predators, but they have excellent hearing and speed which helps preventing them from becoming a predator's meal. Rabbirbs can't fly super well with their wings, but they mostly use them for jumping to areas they can't reach or to escape quickly if in danger. Due to having similar behavior to birds and rabbits which are common animals kept as pets, rabbirbs are starting to commonly be kept domestically. Will you take home a rabbirb?

Species Rules
*Rabbirbs can be any gender or sexuality
*Editing your rabbirb in any way is not allowed
*Do not make your own rabbirb as this is a closed species
*You may make your rabbirb your fursona as long as you have the permission of the artist who created the rabbirb
*Gifting and trading your rabbirb(s) is allowed but please tell me if your gifting it away so I'm aware of the owner change
*When using your rabbirb(s) for something, please always be sure to credit me for creating the species and the artist for designing it
*If you no longer want your rabbirb, reselling it for money/pets/etc. is not allowed. If you no longer want yours then you must PM me about it so I can put it up for adoption again
