Wʜᴀᴛ ᴀʀᴇ Vᴀᴇʟᴏɴs?

Vaelons (Vay-lawns) are fast-flying omnivorous mammals that usually live in large, dense forests. They are social creatures, mainly living in flocks of up to 7-10 at a time. These creatures can range from the size of a large dog to a medium-sized horse.

These creatures have a couple unique traits. Specifically their trailers and the claws on the tips of their wings. The trailers can be long or short, fluffy or thin, but are very rarely not there. The claws also have large variations, but are always on a Vaelon. The wing claws are poisonous and serve as a large defense for the creatures, and if they do not have them, makes them virtually undefended other than their teeth (Vaelons are very clumsy when it comes to fighting with their hind legs). Since Vaelons are a very peaceful and timid species, most are not very aggressive or wish to fight, and only use the claws for defense from attackers.
