how did this kitsoone get their charm?: it's not your average accessory, and she doesn't quite like wearing it for a heavy reason; it bears the energy of a curse, one that plagued her family with misfortune and outside hostility for generations. for her, this curse gave her the terrible luck of happening across a witch, one who wasn't a particularly friendly one. she nearly ended up in a fight that could've seriously damaged her, but with hours and hours of pleading, begging, and her family's small amounts of precious money given as bribery, she instead convinced the witch to dispel the curse and seal it away in exchange for giving her more treasures in the future. the witch had told her that she herself needed to bear such a responsibility, and gave her a charm that would reanimate the curse if broken or put on anyone else. since then, her family is recovering and beginning to live in a bit more peace and prosperity without the tragedies the curse brought, but they still live in fear of it returning, particularly majutsu. still, she tries to look beyond it and help her family as she promised to herself.

how did this kitsoone get their charm?:
It was given to her by an old friend.
Tint helps out at a cats and dogs shelter, helping calm frightened animals and helping to care for them. Her favourite friend to play with was a big rottweiler named Cesar, who'd been at the shelter for nearly a year, even when she first started helping out. Nobody wanted to adopt Cesar, he has too big, or too loud, or too frightening when he jumped up to ask for a scratch behind the ears. Even some of the workers were wary of him. It looked very much like he would never be adopted, and would spend his life in the kennels. Tint loved Cesar anyway, and could often be found playing or cuddling with him. This was how a young, expecting family found them one day, playing with a ball. Watching tint play with the huge dog without fear, the couple saw how soft Cesar really was, and came back a few times to see him. Eventually he was adopted by the couple, much to tints absolute delight, all thanks to tint showing them how gentle and sweet the rottie really was. The charm that tint wears on her bracelet is in fact Cesars old collar tag, which she keeps with her always as a memory of her big fluffy friend.
