I've had this idea for a species for a very long time but I only do traditional art, so I decided to make this a competition! There will be three winners but I will only be keeping the lines of the 1st place winner. If you don't win you may do whatever you want with your entry.
This will be ending at the end of the month unless more entries are posted, if this becomes a bit more active I'll wait for any wip entries to finish before it officially closes
The species I had in mind are very large Lion and Sheep hybrids, they can grow up to 13ft tall and have short thin fur that covers their entire body, long whip like tails with tufts of curly or straight fur on the end, long razor sharp claws, long sharp "fangs" in the very front of their mouth and large round teeth directly behind them with flat smaller teeth on the sides, small round ears, and a thick curly "mane" made of soft sheep wool that completely covers their face and neck. Due to their sensitivity to bright lights their eyes are always closed if their thick manes aren't covering them.
The end date is tbd but this will most likely end in two or three months, I may end it early if I find an entry that I really love or if the competition doesn't get enough entries. If I do Runner Ups there will be at least two and they will get a few wl pets and if they wanted they could have a spot on the species staff

Requirements
- Clean lines that aren't to thin or thick
- Easy to use Lock Alpha layers
- The "mane" has to be on a separate layer so that it can be removed if I or an artist chooses to make an adopt without the mane, their eyes are always closed when they aren't covered by their manes
- Nursery lines with two or more cubs
- Ram horns on a separate lock alpha layer
- Paws, eyes, and mouth refs

- A custom background
- Name suggestions for the species
- Feathered wings on a separate lock alpha layer
- Different fur, tails, and ear edits on separate lock alpha layers
Prizes
1st place - 5 pets from the group + Legendary custom slot (5 legendary edits, 2 rare edits, unlimited uncommon and below)
2nd place - 3 pets from the group + Rare custom slot (5 rare edits, unlimited uncommon and below)
3rd place - 2 pets from the group + Uncommon custom slot (Unlimited uncommon and below edits)
