Extra: Koraki is the leader - known as the lordess - of a tribe. she gained this position after proving herself worthy of the role by slaying a wolf.

Koraki, named after her midnight-black fur and luminous golden eyes, had a lonely childhood. as a young teacat, she learned to be independent when her parents were killed by a pack of wolves, led by King Howl. she trained harder than anyone, practicing her fighting and hunting each day, so that one day she could get her revenge on Howl. as the wolf pack closed in around her tribe on the eve of the full moon, they managed to kill the previous leader before the rest of the teacats scattered into hiding. Koraki snuck out of the den where the rest of the tribe was hiding and stalked the wolves from afar. she heard their plans and reported back to the panicked and disorganized tribe. with no leader and a pack of wolves hunting them just feet away, the tribe was in disarray. Koraki saw that the only way to defeat the wolves was to stick together, so she rose up like a leader and filled the fearful teacats with determination and hope. with her clever plan explained thoroughly to each teacat, the tribe followed her out a secret passageway which the wolves did not know about. following her instructions, they launched a series of attacks and retreats on different groups of wolves that left the predators confused. then came the final battle - all the teacats rushed in and confused the wolves by darting around them in zigzags and throwing 'teabag bombs' filled with scalding tea that exploded all over the wolves on impact. during the chaos, Koraki executed the final part of her plan - she slipped between the howling wolves and hissing teacats, unnoticed, until she tracked down the leader. King Howl was sitting atop a tall rock - one that the previous leader would stand upon and address the tribe from - watching the battle without helping at all. as Koraki called out to King Howl, the fighting around them ceased. every wolf and teacat alike turned their heads to stare at Koraki facing off with King Howl. to the wolves, it was a wonderful moment as it seemed like their king could snap Koraki's neck with one flick of his paw or snap of his jaws. to the teacats, it was a terrifying moment as it seemed like their temporary leader could be taken down by the powerful wolf king any second. as Koraki explained her fury and pain at King Howl's coldblooded killing - one that was not driven by hunger for prey, but for bloodlust and hunger for killing - everyone watched, tense. what would happen? surely a tiny teacat couldn't take down the largest and most powerful wolf in the forest.
"you realize that I could kill you with one swipe of my paw," King Howl chuckled, his malicious ice-blue eyes narrowed to slits in the silvery light of the full moon. he tilted his head, clearly amused by Koraki standing up to him.
"actually, I don't realize that," Koraki growled, her voice full of sharp thorns, though her posture and expression were calm. there was no fear or panic shown in her lean muscles and glowing eyes. "I don't think you realize that we're stronger than you think."
"no, little teacat," the wolf king snorted. he leaned down, his huge muzzle a whisker away from her face. "I'll kill you just like I killed your parents."
"we'll see," Koraki hissed before launching herself at the wolf king. startled, he reared back, unable to find Koraki. she clung to her back, years of climbing trees and sparring with other teacats paying off. his thick, shaggy fur was hard to cling to, but she dug her thorn-sharp claws in deeper until they pricked his skin. the wolf king tried to shake her off, but when that didn't work, he rolled over, trying to crush her. nimbly, Koraki leapt off and began biting and scratching his shoulders and flank. each time he swiped at her, she dodged and continued attacking him from all sides. confused, he staggered, sometimes rearing onto his back paws in an attempt to slam down on her with his wide paws. losing balance, he tilted precariously on the edge of the rock for a moment, before slipping and falling off with a cry.
seeing their king defeated, the wolves retreated back into the forest with tails between their legs. the teacats were in shock of Koraki's clever strategy and cunning plan. they quickly named her leader - Lordess Koraki - for they could tell she was the right one to take the role. to this day, Koraki rules the tribe with her wisdom and strength. when she enters an area, all the teacats bow their heads with respect. they love their leader, and they could not have had a better one. she holds her head high with pride and regal authority, for she had done the impossible and finally avenged her parents.
