Story behind the weird patterns: Jefferson is an archaeologist, so he travels the globe. On one particular visit to Egypt, Jefferson discovered an ancient tomb incapsulated in a pyramid. Despite everyone's efforts to try and stop him, Jefferson entered. The pyramid's wall shut behind him, leaving Jefferson to preform many tasks that involved life or death. Eventually, Jefferson stumbled upon an idol of an ancient Egyptian prince. Curious, Jefferson removed it from the pedestal from which it sat. A jolt of what felt like electricity shot through Jefferson's body. The pain was enough to knock him unconscious. When he awoke, Jefferson was outside of the pyramid. They had found that his body was now covered in ancient Egyptian markings that clearly were not there before. These markings now surge with electricity when Jefferson is angry.
