Everyone is competitively collecting Acorns

Every fall it was a game to collect, hoard, and stash AS MANY ACORNS AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE. If someone's stash under a tree root was stolen by a person rather than a squirrel, everything was about to became dangerous territory. XD

Oh man, if only there had been oak trees where I lived. That sounds like something all the kids in my neighborhood would totally have done. I bet we would have taken markers and tried to draw faces on them too. (We drew faces on a lot of things)
