What are Teacats?

Teacats were made by accident. A young woman was fiddling around with different tea flavors to try and create a better tea that would draw in more customers to her shop. Thinking her newest formula was going to fail, the woman decided to mess around and stick the tea in a new type of casing- a casing in the shape of a cat. She dropped the tea in the water and sat back to wait for the water to soak up the flavors. However, when she checked the tea, tiny little eyes were staring back up at her. For reasons still unknown, the new casing came to life once it touches water.

Love is a beautiful thing. It makes us who we are. Without love, we would go through our daily lives monotonously. Without love in our life, what would life be? It may be love of our families, friends, or maybe just life itself! Love is that warm feeling you get when you give your family members a hug, that fuzzy feeling you get when you see someone in your life succeed. It's beautiful to think that everybody has love in their lives- even when they think they may not. Love is something that you can experience no matter who you are, or what you've been through.
That's what love is.

She strode through the ballroom, gaping at the ice statues and gorgeous tapestries. The Valentine Dance was kindly hosted by the richest woman in town, Anastasia Browne. Beverly had never seen her, and she supposed that she must be working all the time in order to afford all of this. There were a few butlers giving short tours of the house, and she was tempted to try one. She turned to look at her family- her mother, father, and brother not far behind her. They had all seen this before, but they were still amazed at how beautiful the space was.
After a while of standing awkwardly beside her parents as they talked, everybody turned heir attention to the small stage at the head of the ballroom. An adult teacat stood on it, wearing a gorgeous purple dress that matched her pelt color. Beverly gasped at her beauty as she thanked everyone for coming. Beverly guessed that she was Anastasia. She saw the gorgeous teacat look directly at her and smile, her eyes seeming to shine. Beverly smiled back. She was surprised to see Anastasia walking towards her, the train of her dress trailing behind her.
“Hello, little one,” Anastasia meowed quietly, ad if speaking to a newborn baby.
“H-h-hello Miss Browne,” Beverly stuttered.
“Are you enjoying the Dance?”
“Yes,” Beverly said in an effort to not offend the pretty teacat.
“You’re not very convincing,” she joked.
“Um.. why didn’t you get married??” Beverly asked, wanting to change the subject.
“Because I never met anyone I love.”
“Then why are you hosting this Dance? Doesn’t it make you jealous?”
“No... I do it because I love doing this for others, watching them enjoy themselves.” With this, Anastasia walked away to talk to another teacat.

response: Love is hard to explain, so simple yet so complicated, but mainly, it's comfortable. Love can appear in many ways, not just couples, but friends, animals, inanimate objects even! When it's friends, it means you love their company and companionship, when it's animals, it means you know they will always be there for you, to protect or comfort, when it's something not living, it means history. That stuffed animal you've had since you where a kid? How many dreams whispered into it's ear? How many tears cried into it's belly? How many nights slept comfortable with it pressed close to your chest? Love isn't one thing, it's not in one form, it's everywhere. Love's caring, being there, knowing others will be there too, it's history, and it's companionship. Love is the most amazing thing anyone can ever feel. It's warm and comforting, no matter what the circumstances, place, or person.
writing: There is this very special person in my life. I'm very lucky to have met him so early on. He's tall, handsome, he can drive, his father's wealthy, but you wouldn't believe me if i told you i didn't care. What i care about is the fact that he can calm me down when i have my female teenager moments, holds me when i'm scared, when i see people who arn't really there, laughs and smiles at my stupid jokes, and celebrates with me when we've won things!

alright, I haven't gotten to judge the contests of a few of my other adopts yet! I have a good explanation, I promise c:

I've recently been having computer problems and I'm only allowed on the other laptop on weekends so that limits my time. also, I've had a busy week. I'm in my school's musical and last week was tech week and now it's the week of the show. I've been having late practices and going to bed quite late so I haven't had the time, even on weekends, to judge the entries.

I apologize for any inconvenience and thank everyone for their patience. I aim to get all of them judged by tonight after my last show.
