My dad is watching a tv show with headphones on and he randomly started yelling about something and I asked why he was mad. He explained that a guy on the show he is watching didn't speak English and was asking if the other person spoke Spanish and he said and I quote, "You speak English in America, don't force us to learn your language, go back to where you came from if you don't speak english" I stared at him and said "The native Americans spoke their own language and we forced then to speak our language." He got even madder and said "You are acting like the problem in America"

Fun fact, a lot of native Americans spoke Spanish before the US claimed states like New Mexico and Texas . So the border crossed them, not the other way around. So whats the real root language? Not english, thats for sure. I feel your pain on this point, my dad is the same way and I hate it too. All people have a right to exisit as they are and be respected for it.
