from what if looks like, their opacity is a little lower (on the lines, not only shading), and they probably have "smoothing" up a bit, which I like to use for lines; it really helps make it look less shaky and more flowy.
another trick i like to use to make lines look more delicate and smooth is to erase the tips a tiny bit so they come to a point - i'm guessing the original artist did this on things like the eyelashes.

ahh for the whole "pointed tip" look, pen pressure also plays a key roll in that since im
most likely guessing they made that with a tablet ^^
