So this dude is positive for the PTN1 (leopard appaloosa) gene, but because the LPN gene didn't pass the appaloosa markings don't show up. If bred to a homozygous mare (fewspot appaloosa, snowcap appaloosa, etc.) there's a 50% chance of the foal being either a leopard appaloosa (PTN1 only) or a semi-leopard appaloosa (PTN1 + PTN2 (from the mother if present)). Yay for genetics! XD
