Rules:

1) Abide by all CS rules.
2) Do not copy, trace, trade, or sell Elysian Lions .
3) Do not claim art as yours that does not belong to you. please credit the real artists.
4) Elysian Lions may not be sold for any currency, real or virtual. They may not be sold, period. Elysian Lions may not be traded either. The only way lions can transfer ownership is by gifting.
5) People may gift up to two lions a year, not including cubs. Players may gift up to one cub per person each litter.
6) Only official artists may make adopts.
7) Elysian Lions may not be fursonas.
8) Elysian Lions may not be used outside of the lore or Elysian Lions species.
9) Elysian Lions may not interact with any oc/character outside of the Elysian Lion world.
10) Elysian Lions may not resemble characters from franchises (for example, no pikachus or Naruto lions allowed, sorry).
11) Symbols from the real world may not be used in designs (for example your lion cannot have a fire bender emblem or an illuminati sign in their pelt or on any apparel/items).
12) Do not ask people for lions or cubs. Do not attempt to guilt trip people for lions or cubs (including say "remember that time I gave you... or did this for you..."). Those who violate this rule will receive a strike.

Who Are The Elysian Lions?

Elysian Lions are a race of sentient, winged lions. They live within a world that they call "Elysia." They believe that they were created by their deities, and that they are destined to vanquish all creatures of the low and dark. Extremely superstitious, every lion has a mask to protect their soul from being stolen by their sworn enemies, the dark beings that lurk beneath the canopy in which the lions reside. To have one's mask removed would be considered the utmost humiliation, whether it be by the paw of a lion, or the strike of a dark being.

Before you begin...
Please note that this is a lore-driven and development-heavy arpg. This is not the place to breed as much as you can or hoard all the pretty or edit-heavy designs you see. Though please do apply for designs you love. Here, it is all about the story.

Leveling System
Everybody starts at level 1.

Level 1
You may...
- have 1 elysian lion
- redeem art and writing for EC (Elysian Coin)
- participate in species activities
You may not...
- breed your lion
To level up, you must...
- create a thread housing your lions' info (you may use toy house, weebly, and other site as long as the site is safe and easy to access)
- create a thread to store your level-up information/level up art and writing pieces. This will help with keep things easy and organized
- write 100+ words to describe your lion's history
- write 100+ words to describe your lion's personality

Level 2
You may...
- have up to 4 elysian lions
- participate in all species activities
To level up, you must...
- write 100+ words about one of your lion receiving their mask [may change]
- all of your lions must have 100+ words written for personality and history

Level 3
You may...
- have up to 7 elysian lions
To level up, you must...
- write a 500+ word story about one or more of your lions
or
- draw a fullbody, highlighted and shaded piece w/ a bg
- all of your lions must have 200+ words written for personality and history

Every Level After 3
You May...
- have 2 more elysian lions than the level previously

[level 5 --> 11 lions]
[level 6 --> 13 lions]
and so on
To level up, you must...
- write a 1000+ word story about one of your lions
or
- write 2x 500+ word stories about one or more of your lions
or
- draw 2x fullbody, highlighted and shaded pieces w/ backgrounds (must make two pieces. Cannot be one piece with two lions in it.)
- all of your lions must have 200+ words written for personality and history

At Level 10 and After
- you will receive a custom every year (resets between December 31 and January 1 at midnight EST)
