I realized that I'd done three pictures out of boredom and not one for September 11th.

So a little red, white, and blue.

As for not being able to draw that well... I'm sure you could. Coloring in linearts is a lot simpler then drawing. As simple as coloring something in by hand, just a lot more time consuming. It just takes patience and if you're using a laptop pad (like me) the willingness to do it fifteen times till you get the right look.

Did you re-draw the second fishie? The red, and white one?

No I didn't (I wish I were that talented). In fact I duplicated the layer, flipped it, used the multiply (so the lines sit on top of the color), and erased the lines that overlapped. It's fairly simple if you know how to use photoshop and such.
