Lost in the Blizzard

Nydia hurried through the think snow. She needed to get to the ceremony on time! The snow was so think that she could only see her own paws. She clutched the edge of her cloak, trying to withstand the cold. She saw a cave opening and rushed towards it. She ran into the cave and stopped to catch her breath. She tried looking around at her new surroundings but the only light in the cave was coming from the mouth of the cave. She whispered, "ingnis nunc," and her magic ignited, forming a flame above her paw. She looked around at the now lite cave, there were sleeping bats on the ceiling and a skull that looked horribly like a wolf head. She sat down on an outcropping and looked at the mouth of the cave, all Nydia could see was white snow She sighed, trying not to tear up. She was going to be stuck here for a while and she was going to miss that ceremony.
