Hmm... what is that he's cooking? A stew? A chowder? A soup? Green chicken smoothie?!


This is my first Oekaki! I sketched it out several times on paper but this one I love the most by far; I'm very proud of it and spent a lot of time on it so I feel it belongs here, but it may be moved if any of the mods think it should. I purposely made him with only basic features and minimal shading because I want to capture a simple and domestic look. The background and... whatever he's making... are the only things with color to give it a unique touch. Drawn with mouse but I do own a tablet.

I fail at hands so any tips about that and other comments and constructive criticism would be appreciated. Please, do not say it isn't 'worthy' to be here without having some tips to make it better; let the mods decide if it should be moved or not. I will probably edit this anyway after I get some feedback so please let me know what needs to be fixed.

and for the hands, i think you should make them a little longer so they can really wrap around the spoon ;)

Better? I kinda think the palm looks chunky. I'll get some hand refs later and try to fix that up as well.
