L OL ikr the gen 1 games are proving to be much harder than I thought???? like??? leveling is so slow and all the trainers around you increase in level SO FAST. In Leafgreen I had my pidgey and charmander evolved before pewter, but here I STRUGGLED just to get my pidgey up to level 14 Dx (in yellow I'm at mt moon now)

and you know what? the first time I opened pokemon yellow to do this nuzlocke I actually got killed on the first rival battle, (the one where you only have your starter). ofc that's a game over in the nuzlocke world so I just restarted the game... but now I know I gotta be careful hjdshfdsfh Dx

I always just went through the route & after I reached the next town id just go back to the other route and train, but that's without the added difficulty of a nuzlocke haha

yeah I grinded for like an hour and a half before fighting brock because my pikachu obv couldn't be the one battling but everyone else was so far behind in level ... rip
and brock's pokemon didn't even know any rock or ground moves ....heck >:/

...who knew that one (1) tail whip could be so lethal?
