Some help c:

Postby Skittle. » Sat Nov 18, 2017 6:32 pm

Okkkkk soooooooooo

To learn to draw, it is best to look at photos or medical diagrams to see the body structure, rather than from other artists styles. This way you develop how your style should look individually, and make it more natural looking. So learn the basics and build up from there. My advice is to not necessarily make your proportions correct (unless you are going for realism) But make sure your joints are in the right places.

Usually, if you draw a line from the dogs elbow to its knee they should be on the same line, in your image the knee is too high. There is also a gap from the rib cage to the leg, which is thinner in size and curves upwards. Instead of using ovals as a base, lean more towards bean shapes, this will give a more accurate and 'flowy' picture.

Your line art is fine, it just needs to be placed closer to your structural drawing c:

Hope it helps!
