I see the fireflies,
they have lit up millions of night skies.
I see them a million times over,
Yet it never gets old.
Their twinkle can never be bought or sold,
Only seen and touched.
The fires they make every time,
Even if the twelfth stroke chime.
They never sleep.
We must be grateful for it,
Or we couldn't watch and sit.
I see the fireflies.
they have lit up millions of night skies.
I see them a million times over,
Yet it never gets old.
Their twinkle can never be bought or sold,
Only seen and touched.
The fires they make every time,
Even if the twelfth stroke chime.
They never sleep.
We must be grateful for it,
Or we couldn't watch and sit.
I see the fireflies.
