What was it like to sit there and watch as all the other toys got new homes. To see your firends, the cat,
the lion, the frog, the clown and even the no head doll, all leave you behind. All ways hearing "no, that toy is stupid looking" "its to big to fit in the car" "you'll never even play with it" "its missing an eye" from all the adults that walked by with children. It must have been so lonely to just sit there for months on end watching all the new toys coming in find new home as you wait for that special someone. As i watched from a far I could see the sadness you had over coming the little light you had left. I walked over to you to get a better look, and i could right away see you were hand made with more love than fluff. To see all the fun you once had with the child you loved so much, made me realize, you could bring that same love to the little ones at my home. Tho you may not speak, move, or even feel, I saw that small little light grow bright in your one eye as you finely heard "Lets go home and play" I cant promise that the you will always get played with, or that the little ones will not out grow you someday. The one thing I can promise, Is I will will love you and hold you when i need a friend. And when the time comes, the next family get the same enjoyment that you have brought to my home.
