With the color pallette if you want you can do different varitions of that color. And if you can could you base it off the song Fireflies?
I would like it to be a happy character. Who has never seen the terrors of the world, just shieled away in ameowdow away from everything. Expect for the fireflies whom teach them how to dance and joy.
