What is a fossie?
A fossie is a three foot tall species that is commonly found as house pets. They lack hind legs and use their tails as support for the back half of its body. Fossies sport two pairs of ears, most likely to listen for predators when they were in the wild. Because of this, it is important to mention that fossies have very sensitive hearing that can be easily damaged by very loud noises. The antennas on their head act as a nose, as well as sensors.
Many have noted the fossies' disturbing eating process. When it closes its eye, instead off an eyelid covering it, a small mouth appears. Fossies have small needle like fangs that are similar to a sharks: rows. This species is carnivorous and enjoys any type of meat. However, there have been a few discoveries of herbivore and omnivore fossies.
The most mysterious attribute of a fossie is that they have a human form. This does not happen until they have reached adulthood.

• This is a closed species. You may not make one of your own without the correct permission.
• At the moment, there is no limit to how many fossies you may own.
• You may not sell your adopted fossie for any type money, fake or real, unless you bought it with money in which you may sell it but not for more than you bought it for and it must be the same currency that you bought the fossie with.
• You may trade your fossie for another fossie or a character.
• Adopts will be a mix of free and paid adopts.
• Do not claim the design as your own. Give credit where credit is due. As long as credit is stated, you may use your fossie as a fursona/sona.
• Respect one another, whether is be another adopter, staff, etc.
• Should you be banned, any owned fossies will be taken and you will no longer have owner ship.
• Please tell an archivist when trading. I would like to keep track of everything. If you do not tell an archivist, the trade will not count.
• You may not change or transfer a fossie design.
• These rules may change as I see fit.

Nothing/free adopt
• Artists must keep track of how much they are sold for.
• If artists wish to keep their job, they must make at least one every two weeks (two a month). If you are removed, you must try out again.
• An artist must make three free adopts for every one paid adopt.
• Mods, please pester Pitch about things she needs to do if she forgets. She won't get mad. Promise.
• Staff members will be paid if they are active;
Every 8 free adopts an artist makes, they earn a Legendary Edit Myo
Myos can be sold on da for up to 2000 points/$20*
The myo includes 2 legendary edits, and unlimited rare and below edits.
Paid adopts do not count towards the artists' myo- payment from these is received from the Buyer
After you design 100 Adopts you may have an ∞ Edit Myo with no limitations (see edit guide for details)
To gain their Myo they need to pm the species owner (Pitch1226) with a link to the adopts.
By adopting a fossie or becoming a staff member, you are agreeing to these terms!
