You almost consider just drinking the vial you hold in your hands; it has a nice smell, and would probably taste good. But you recall the witch telling you that you can obtain a creature with the potion by smashing the vial, and you're kinda interested in that. Besides, if it's a bird or something, you can probably just taste it anyway. Giving the sweet liquid a longing look, you chuck it at the cement beneath your feet. Sure enough, the liquid takes an amorphous form, eventually settling on what looks like a cat. This spotty, small but long wildcat - serval, your mind supplies. Right. This violet serval-like felid absolutely exudes magical energy. Even if you have no magical ability, or aren't attuned enough to sense magic in most cases, you can definitely feel this magic. You can smell it. You can taste it. And it tastes like the colour violet. As you come to this realization, you watch the cat light up. Literally. A glow matching one of the... glo-bracelets? Is it wearing glo-bracelets? That's absurd. Anyway, lights matching the top glo-bracelet, the purple one, begin to flare to life at the tips of the feelers on this cat's body, and a violet spot appears above a row of black spots you've just noticed on its arm. You think you know what this means, and you grow excited. The cat's going to be your familiar on a magical quest to taste the colours! It will help you unlock the ability to taste the rainbow! Wait- wait wait wait wait, you knew that Skittles were magical! Nobody believed you, but they totally are! Now where does that leave the magically delicious taste of Lucky Charms-?
Your train of thought abruptly crashes and burns as the felid roughly headbutts your leg, looking up at you with narrowed eyes as if it had sensed your thoughts and is judging you harshly. Yup, definitely a cat.
(I hope you like your creature! The writing is just for fun, you can use as much or as little of the information in it as you want)
