The main character, V Mors, and Sin Fell, and FBI agent, are staring a serial killer in the mask. He is going to kill Sin, and then take V as his surrogate daughter. He takes a shot at Sin who is pushed down by V, who takes the shot that would have peirced Sin's heart. It goes through her chest, millimeters above V's heart. This was all being live fed on video to sin's teammates and the local PD. before the video is shut off by the angered serial killer, Sin is able to tell the team, through tears, where they are. when the agents and cops get there, V is dying in Sin's arm. she tells him the word written in the yellowish gold, before being taken away by paramedics. the frantic Sin tells teammate Jarod Remington the words in pruple, when he trues to stop him from getting in the ambulance.
