due to their intelligence and magical abilities. They are omnivores,

How did they get their scars?:Emer was out hunting one day and came across a cave.  Being the curious fellow he was he thought nothing bad about exploring inside. As he walked in further and further he began to hear a low rumbbling sound that of a cat growl but deeper. Out of no where the silhouette of an animal lunged before him and attacked scratching his face and body. Emer was in shock and stood still till he came to his senses. He tried to fight back but the, as he calls,  shadow creature was just too fast so he ran back to the exit and out of the cave then through all the brush and foliage of the forest til he came to an open field and rested. That day He learned to be more cautious of everything and never went back to the cave again.
