what does this character love about the sky?: (250 words max)
Usignolo sees the sky as a canvas, a vast expanse in which almost anything could happen even beyond what is seen. Her name itself is the Italian translation of Nightingale, a beautiful bird further strengthening her bond with the frontier above. She feels as though the sky is symbolic of freedom from all issues that pop up in the tough times in life. She prefers the night sky definitely because of the calming effect it tends to have even though many find the midnight hours unsettling. Usi loves to see the glowing stars and yellow moon that seem so close bringing hope and light to the shadows of the twilight. The sky is release for her as well in the day where she could lounge on a grassy hill and watch the clouds float by in fanciful shapes playing out the most incredible stories. She loves the sky as a whole because it symbolizes freedom, it gives hope and light in dark situations, and it allows her to create worlds in which she can leave all reality behind. The sky is a friend, a blanket in which she always relied. This is a love she learned from her father as a young child who suffered from insomnia and stargazing is still a bonding activity they do whenever they take a midnight walk when both fail to fall into the land of dreams and slumber.

~Usi often did not do well at school mainly due to her daydreaming tendencies and her habit of absentmindedly doodling instead of working on the given assignments
