Behind the name: So the name choice is a little bit more personal, but she's basically named after a friend of mine, who as you could of guessed is named Alejandra aka Ale. When I was looking at this viscet the first thing that stood out to me was obviously the little hoodie which I can only imagine as a shark, and surprisingly enough my friends nickname is Sharky/Sharkbait because she loves sharks and we always say she has a shark like smile.

Perhaps it, in turn, influenced the cupid's fiery, lively personality and her hot temper, which lacked a filter despite her position as a heavenly being. Ahote walked down the river, gazing at the lush trees, daydreaming into a distance. The breeze swept through her fur as she felt the pebbles beneath her feet, listening to the sound water splash at the riverbanks. She was simply awed by the beauty around her.

Ahote is a tribal name meaning restless one. Ahote has always been known for wandering off, instead of concentrating onher tasks. As a young visceling she was always chided for not paying attention but now her imagination and wandering mind was the reason for why she was chosen as the tribe's see-er.

With her head titled to a side, she placed a paw on the stone. It was smooth with a shiny iridescence and small claw marks left by viscets of the past. "Ahote!" She heard her mother call. Leaning forward, she gently picked up the stone between her teeth and ran back to her mother.

Born in the tribe of Ohi-yo (meaning great river), Ahote had grown up around water. Ahote always loved the river and spent a lot of time around the river, studying the reflections or playing about in its waters. As a visceling she was different. She was never interested in hunting or fighting like the others. She much preferred exploring the forest, daydreaming as she watched the clouds drift across the sky. She was always distracted and her mind would wander off easy and she seemed attracted to the smallest of things like ladybugs that flew by and because of that the tribe's current see-er chose for her to be his apprentice. Her gift for noticing the smallest of details as well as reading signs and omens for reflections in the water proved her as the perfect see-er apprentice. She was hand picked by the current see-er of the tribe at a young age. Ahote always had a close connection to water, there was something that seemed to draw her towards the water... it's glistening surface the sound of the water as it flows down, creating light splashes as it went.Every see-er is given talisman as an apprentice and Ahote's was a fish hoodie for her close connection with water. Ahote loves being the see-er's apprentice for it means that she would learn the ways of the tribe as well as form connections with her ancestors as well as the environment in which she loves passionately.
