Story: Sitting, Twix curled his tail around his legs, watching his life pass by as if he were dying this very moment. With each song a new memory danced in his mind. His heart would pump blood along to the beat of the song, giving him life almost as good as the music he was listening to. Suddenly his head shot back, making the headphones crash onto the ground, with a loud thump. Even with it on the ground Twix could hear the song blasting through his headphones. He gave it a death glare, then shook his head, hoping to forget about that one song. His eyes took a little to focus on the ipod after shaking his head so hard. He gave the song a very low rating, then skipped it. Twix's fur back prickled when the headphones slid back over his ears. The feeling of having his headphones on was different from anything else he had felt recently. As a new song begun his eyes closed, and he drifted off to his happy world of childhood memories.

Remarque's claws tapped the ground with each note that poured from his headphones into his ears. The music seemed to float around the room and his eyes closed as his mind pulled him from one world into another. In this world insted of tapping the ground, his claws moved easily and swiftly to each key of his piano. Note after note poured from the piano forming a beautiful song. But just before his song came to an end Tyson barreled into him, knocking off his headphones and ripping him from his dream. "What CAH doooin!" The cub chirpped playfully at him, earning him a glare from Remarque. Even though Tyson annoyed him beyond belief, the cub was his best friend, and the only Marra who knew about his secret love of the piano.

Zydeco lay sprawled on the grass, Mavi and Gibson ran circles around him playing tag but he couldn't hear them. His music was loud in his ears the bass shaking him to the core. He listened to each note carefully and savored it as though he was listening it to the first time when in fact he had listened to this song hundreds of times before.

Music was all that mattered to Zy, he would put his headphones on, close his eyes and shut him self from the world.

He stretched himself out and allowed his paws to feel the grass, beneath him. It was slightly damp and cool, a stark contrast to the morning sun that warmed his back.

A truly beautiful morning it was indeed.

Story [max 500 words]: nylo lay sprawled across the swampy undergrowth of the wetlands, his headphones tucked neatly around his neck. his hair was messy, as usual. nylo strained to see through the thick layer of leaves blocking the sun. suddenly, a breeze swept those leaves away, showing nylo the bright sunset. nylo smiled. he'd never seen a sunset, due to the canopy blocking every possible view of the sky whenever nylo had tried to see it, poor guy. as the leaves parted to show the vibrant sky. the sun shined almost too bright for nylo to look at without burning his eyes. he stood up, hearing the rustling of leaves behind him. a bright red squirrel bounded towards the small tree near nylo's rocky den. nylo grinned. that day, nylo had realised the true beauty of the world.

Congrats to minecraftpuppy606! all these stories were really incredible, pulling at the heart strings and inspiring feelings of awe, but i have to pick a winner! When i read this story i just had to give it a second read through! it was one of those stories that you cant understand its full potential until you reread it! I love how this story gives you a feeling that the reality of the story is much bigger than what you've read, and gives an amazing atmosphere. I can practically see Twix's head shooting up and his glare!
