Versem hounds are mammals closely related to wolves, but with very distinctive features which set them apart from other existing species. They are agile creatures with the ability to run at very high speeds. Their shoulder 'fluff' includes a small protruding bone structure at the base which ends only approximately 2 inches above the base of their shoulders. This bone leads many to believe that some kind of ancestor to the species had been equipped with full wings, though this is just speculation. It is possible, being that this is a recently discovered species, that some Versem Hounds in the wild do have wings, though considering our current knowledge of the species this would be considered a very rare feature if at all in existence.

How to Acquire a Custom Versem Hound:
Please read the following!

- All general rules apply to custom Versem hounds.
- Custom Versem hounds are allowed through a points system.
- The more points you earn, the higher rarities you can unlock!
- Points can be earned through events and activities.
- Read below for additional information on how to acquire points!

How to acquire points:
Points can be earned through events, but they can also be earned through various actions. For example:

- Mark the main thread! +1 point (applies once)
- Make a suggestion for the species! +1 point (applies twice maximum)(please post to the main thread)
- Become an artist to earn +3 points per week!
- Refer someone to the species and earn +1 points per referral! (please post on the main thread if you've been referred by someone)
- Each HM given through adopt comps = 1 point!

Points may be traded in at time for customs / upgrades!
Standard = 5 points
Common = 10 points
Uncommon = 18 points
Rare+ Customs are currently not allowed.

I have tried out for one of these before and am confused with the points, I have never won a Versem Hound before. >.<

The points system is super new (as well as the species haha) - I'll try my best to explain it a little better ^^

You collect points by doing different things or participating in random events which will come over time, or you can earn points by entering competitions. Then, you come to this page when you have the points to trade in and look at what each rarity 'costs' in points.

Standard rarity Versem Hounds 'cost' 5 points, so when you have collected 5 points you can say on here "can I be added?" and I'll add you to who can color in the drawing. Then you can make a Versem hound with Standard edits c:

This event allows you to immediately claim 5 points without doing anything other than saying "claim". So you get a free Standard custom!

If you can't draw or need help making your custom, I'd be glad to do it for you if you'd like ^^
