What are Softukami?
Softukami comes from the word Sofutoookami, which is Japanese for "soft wolf". Softukami have the head and tail of a wolf, antlers of a deer, and body and paws of a chibi cat. They are very soft. They originated in Japan + Korea, and eventually spread all across Eurasia. Softukami earn their scarves during a special ceremony, called the Jushin, Japanese for "The receiving". They are hand-knitted by the Softukami pup's parent(s). In the case where the parent(s) are missing or dead, the next family member would knit the scarf. They can live for about 25 years and can be any sexuality.
