So, this little one mostly came from me feeling bad for turning down the m a n y breeding requests I got for Malloria. And she's still a no on breedings, sorry! ;u; I really, really want to keep my legendaries with IC-only breedings in particular;; so, I decided that this IC breeding in particular should go UFA -- this way, everyone who requested a breeding or was too hesitant to ask can have a fair chance at winning this baby.

Let me just say before anything else -- EVERYONE has a fair chance at this baby. DO NOT feel discouraged if someone starts posting art fast, or if a well-known community member / artist tries out. I judge my competitions solely based on whether or not you A. met my criteria and B. delivered a developed, functional (or non-functional let's be honest @ lori) character. At the end of the day, how you deliver it, whether through art or writing, is the most important to me (and ALL of our artists). Please don't be too scared to try out c:


Now, then, onto the competition;;
I want you to answer one of two one-word prompts, sort of a nod to Malloria's competition. You can answer this prompt with any word count; remember, quality matters, not who wrote the most!
Aside from this prompt, you have 2k words and up to 5 art pieces (comics, animations, etc allowed) to show me your character.

Now, onto the prompts:
** Creativity is extremely encouraged here. You may take the word (only one!!) and answer it or use it however you may -- but it has to be about the word or reference the theme of it more than anything. You must also involve the mother, Malloria, and the father, Shafre (or one of them) in some way; this baby is required to be connected to its parents somehow, be it negatively or positively. I will provide a bio of the parents below.

Mother
Malloria is a narcissistic, cruel spirit who projects kindness and a matronly presence to the outside world. She is a puppeteer,
one who tricks others into becoming an unconscious doll to do her dirty work, although not literally (sometimes). She is a powerful sorceress / witch and seeks things out only for her own benefit; however, her largest goal is somewhat of an insecure one that she refuses to accept as so; she craves to be loved and appreciated, thus sprouting her self-absorbed attitude. Shafre, her mate,
does not provide this for her despite how much she likes his lack of defiance or opinion about her -- so she remains sickeningly cruel, and pursues what she believes to be her main goal -- to destroy the witches who had once cast her out of their lives. To her child, Roc, she is very prideful and offers heavy praise, for he follows in her pawsteps.





Father
He has a bit of a parasitic relationship with Malloria, although it goes both ways; she leeches off of his assisted power to strengthen herself, and he leeches off of the souls of those she crosses and condemns. Still, they consider themselves 'mates', mostly because he is passive and does not wish to assume control -- not when he already has a life of contentment with the enchantress's brutal ways. Plus, Malloria may just like the like-minded (and submissive) company. Shafre is reserved and cares little about earthly/worldly attachment, and is quite brutally honest and sharp-tongued.

Why do you want this viscet?: my favorite trait, after tail mouths, are wings. The bat wings were absolutely gorgeous but pixie wings are my favorite by far. I wasnt able to participate in the legendary with these pixie wings, but i love them very much. now ny character reason for wanting this viscet, is for my baby ryū. adopted by bagheera, she only has one sibling and longs for a sister. aka this beautiful babe

Why do you want this viscet?: I love winged viscets so much tbh ;v; I have always wanted one and have tried multiple times at trying to get one either adopts of via breedings. Ever since i saw Creative and their winged viscet i was always brainstorming different ideas for if i ever got a winged viscet. Then the fairy wings came out and i was like "woah. different wings?" I have multiple ideas planned out for this viscet already and i really want to write about them c:!

When you are told, to do as you are told, life gets kind of boring.
I was told to be like mama.
I was told that if I was, I would be happy and have my way.
I was told that if I was, everything would be good.
But is that true?

They... expect me to follow in her footsteps.
They tell me that she isn't wrong.
They say that she is the best role model for me.
"Mama knows best!"
Does she?

I was told to watch mama.
I was told to imitate her actions.
I was told to be like her.
I was told that.
So that is what I did.

I lied like mama.
I was sneaky like mama.
I deceived others like mama.
I got furious when I didn't get my way.
Everyone was inferior to me.
Mama and Papa, the only ones above me.
That's what they taught me.
"Mama and Papa are better than you.
Remember that.
Everyone else...
You are better than them-
Smarter than then.
Don't forget it."
I believed that.
I became that.
I was as malicious, greedy, self-centered, and unchangeable as Mamma.
I was in deep.

Except...
As I grew older.
They expected more out of me.
More from me.
That's what they wanted.
More.

I needed a breather.
Breaks.
That's all.
Just to clear my head.
To sort out problems from the day.
But if you think I would ask for this...
Well, You must be mistaken.

I didn't ask.
I just did.
I snuck out at night.
Went down to the stream.
I would sit there every night.
Alone.
All alone.
I would just think.
Think about today.
Think about tomorrow.
Think about what was expected of me.
Was what they wanted what I wanted?
I thought so.
They made me believe so.

My night trips got longer and longer.
But I got so deep into thought,
Well, I didn't even notice.
I would jolt out of my daydreaming,
(Ironic because it was the middle of the night.)
I would find I had been out there for hours.
I would know I must hurry to get back.
There was one time where I fell asleep...
Woke back up at sunrise.
My feet had been dangling in the stream all night.
My paws were soaked.
There was no time to dry them off.
If I didn't want to be caught...
I had to run.
No...
I had to sprint.
I was much better with my legs than my wings at the time.
I used my four legs to the best of my ability.
As fast as I could I ran back.
I snuck in...
Quietly.
I sighed and closed my eyes in releif.
But when I opened them...
Mama was standing right over me.

She was not disappointed.
She was not concerned.
She was not fearful nor confused.
The look in her eye was of pure rage.
It was terrifying.
I knew this behavior wasn't expected of me.
I knew this behavior was bad and punishable.

Malloria... Mama... stood towered over me.
She eyed me down from head to tail.
She didn't question, but just made a weird face at the sight of my wet fur.
More rage was added in her eyes at every little thing she saw off.
My fur was messy.
I was dirty.
I looked terrible and was obviously tired.

This was not the image of her child.
This was not the child she raised.
The child she corrupted into following her ways.
This was a different child.

Mama and I stood there.
Paused.
Silence.
"Mama" I peeped.
"I'm sorry."

A week later...
She didn't seem to have forgiven me.
She examined me a lot in that week.
Kept watch over me like a hawk.
Papa seemed a bit more forgiving.
That was nice.

Dinner.
We all sat down together.
The three of us.
There was a lot of silence at the table.
Mama just stared at me.
"Have you ever thought about the fact you can get things out of people by being nice to them?"
Mama slammer her paw on the table.
Pure pure anger took over her.

This was not the child she raised.
Why?
How?
How did this happen?
She raised him like her.
It had to be someone else...
Someone who found out she had a child...
Someone she knew...
Sebastian.
It had to be Sebastian.
That's what Malloria thought.
"Sebastian corrupted my perfect child."

Mama yelled.
She screamed about someone named Sebastian.
Him saying the same thing.
She talked about magic, change, love.
Even pie? I don't know if that is right.
She was so loud but talked so fast and with so much anger I couldn't make much out.

She said that I had been with him.
That I had gone to Sebastian...
That he corrupted me.
So that is what she thought.

I tried to explain to her what I did.
My nights out by the stream.
Knowing I snuck out made it worse.
Explaining it to her only sounded like a cover up for the thing I didn't do...

Mama and Papa expected me to be mean like them.
But Sebastian sounded interesting.
I wanted to know my options in life.
I wanted to know more about him.
I wanted to know if being nice was better.
So...
I began to plan my adventure.
I was going to find Sebastian.
I was going to learn who I was.
I was going to become who I wanted to me.
Not what they expected me to be.

I dug through some old things Mama still had.
I found somethings that seemed like they were clues.
There were some papers in a small box.
Some recipes. Pie, soup, cookies,
There were a few letters and small objects
And an address.

This... this address had to lead me somewhere.
I felt it.
I just knew it would get me somewhere.
I hid it in a nice place by my wings right as Mama walked in.
She was fed up with my bad behavior.
So she confined me to my room.
She made sure there was no escape.
I could not get out unless she unlocked the door.
I didn't know when she would let me out.
Maybe when she knew I learned a lesson.
Maybe when she felt like it.

I was holding the paper with the address on it.
Reading it again and again.
Trying to memorize it.
Mama came in the room.
Saw the paper.
Took the paper.
She was mad.
She didn't even yell though.
Just shook her head and quietly questioned why I had it.
Of course, after she walked away I heard her punch a wall or something.
I knew I just accidentally extended my punishment.

It wasn't until three months after that I actually went.
During those three months...
I thought about it a lot.
I thought about everything I would need.
Efficient ways to do stuff.
I found a way to track the address-
Even made a general map and a pathway to go!

I took many things into consideration.
Mama may be looking for me...
Couldn't fly because I may be spotted.
Can't stay in nearby towns.
With her rage, word might get far that she wanted me home.

Concept:
Nerezze was really dark and evil, following Malloria's footsteps exactly. Malloria loved this. She loved her evil child. She taught him her ways and how to get what he wanted, of course, not from her but definitely from others. He started to get overwhelmed, and snuck out at night for random periods of time to think. This time got longer and longer later on. Nerezze just walked to a stream not too far away to get fresh air and think. Malloria caught Nerezze coming back from one of his night trips, and was highly suspicious and furious. When Nerezze made comment at dinner about changing and being nice, Malloria became convinced he had been meeting up with Sebastian since he said the exact same thing to her. She locked him away/grounded him as punishment for his wrongdoings and made sure he could not leave or sneak away. Though her mentioning Sebastian got Nerezze curious about who Sebastian was and what his importance was. He left yet again, and set off to find Sebastian. Nerezze got pretty lucky and found him at the address on a paper Malloria had. It wasn't too far, so Nerezze actually started meeting up with Sebastian and became friends with him. Sebastian started to chang the evil child's heart, but still was disappointed he couldn't change Malloria. Nerezze isn't fully good, but he isn't fully bad either. He does some genuinely kind and good things, but when around his parents he strictly acts like he was raised to be.

Maybe, while on his trip to find Sebastian, on the way he almost dies and ends up meeting Morpheus. I would have to read the rest of Morpheus's bio/information first before I did anything with that.

Why do you want this viscet?:
This baby is just so precious and beautiful, I would be honored to own him. I was going to try out for this child's mother... I loved the idea I had for the round form style competition where she just got darker and darker throughout, but didn't really feel a strong connection to her, and in the end decided to not tryout. I really like the character you have for her now!
I think owning this little viscet will help me develop Sebastian too, since I seem to develop viscets by getting other viscets and developing them together!
I could write out so much to make it seem like I deserve this child when I don't really. Enough with the rambling, the reason I want this viscet is because as soon as I saw the UFA sign and looked at him again, a great idea sparked for both his personality and story.
