Considering joining a Poke-gijinka group on dA. Sketching out character ideas!

omg I love these designs! (hm, is the left one based on ninetales? can't quite guess the right one though)

Pokemon gijinkas are one of my favorite things to see tbh. When I was younger a lot of the artists I looked up to drew gijinkas. Always super cool seeing all the creative designs and how they incorporate aspects of a pokemon.

The left is indeed ninetales! (I imagine she has nine of those vertical sections in her fur coat. xD) The right is actually the same character, it's my attempt to give her a vulpix look!

I... really dig gijinka designs tbh. I love when artists can pull off communicating the pokemon through stuff like fashion choices instead of ears and tails (although those are still good)! Gijinka are just really fun to play around with ideas. The group I'm looking at actually has some really interesting concepts like pokemon-taurs and a were-lycanroc.
