Age Progression
There is some age progression, however, all cats can created on the default adult cat reference. This means that there is far less strain on artists.
Wait Times:
Kit - Apprentice : 2 weeks
Apprentice - Warrior : 4 Weeks
Warrior - Elder : 4 Months
Elder - Starclan Warrior : 4 Weeks

Most cats are adopted out as adults, meaning they have a life-span of 5 months.
Once your cat reaches the rank of starclan warrior, they are considered dead.

General Rules
Please respect WCA staff. Do not bribe or threaten my staff.
Please be respectful to your fellow competitors.
If you are banned from WCA, you don't lose ownership of your cats - you simply can not participate within the community.
All posted art for a contest must be given to the winner.
Please, take all you issue and concerns to staff.

WCA Rules
You may only own 10 living cats obtained from the main page at a time.
You may only own 10 living that come from the nursery at a time.
Once one of your cats passes onto Starclan, you can adopt again to refill that one slot.
Making for a total of 20 cats you can own at a time.
Custom and event cats do not count towards your total.
As long as your cat is alive within the lore of WCA, you can not use your cats outside of the WCA community.
Cats won't wear items.
All cats made are automatically sorted into the main clan - Oakclan; unless they are approved to move to a new clan.
All new clans diverge from Oakclan.
Cats can be any romantic or sexual orientation.
Cats can have a maximum of 2 kits per litter. You can headcanon that they had more, but as warrior life is difficult, the others didn't survive.
Cats don't have to be mates to breed.
Cats can breed with one other Cats regardless of gender.
Cats can breed a maximum of 2 times.
Incestuous relationships are unacceptable and can result in a ban.
There is a breeding cool-down of two weeks.
I will not allow any anti-lgtb+ clans.
Cats must be within the same clan to be mates.

All clans must conform to all of the WCA rules.

Artist Rules
Please be respectful to the community.
Please, do not abuse your power and privileges. If you do, you will be removed from staff and possibly banned from the species.
Put the # of the cat in the title.
You may only own 15 cats that come from the normal adoption page.
You may own 15 cats that come from the nursery.
Making for a total of 30 cats you can own.
Custom and event cats do not count towards your total.
You are required to make 2 designs a month, but are encouraged to make more.
Be sure to update the cat's information once adopted.
A cat can not have more than 2 stats maxed out. (This includes the health stat)
The health stat will only not be maxed out is the cat is blind/deaf/deformed.
Artists are given 1 free custom to start off with. More customs are earned. You receive your first custom after creating an judging 5 contests than run longer than 4 days. The second customs comes after creating and judging 15 contests that run longer and 4 days. The final custom comes after judging 25 contests than run longer than 4 days.
If you fail to judge a contest within two months, I will take over judging. If this happens more than 3 times without sending in a notice, you will be removed from staff and will be barred from receiving anymore customs.

Lineart Guide
Use the smallest box to write the cat's information. I have already provided several text options, so much of the work is already done.
Turn on the grid and set it to 15 and write within between the lines to match the text size for the smallest box.
Size 1 brush to write.
Erase the stat bubbles that you do not need.
Lock alpha for the eyes and nose are on a separate layer.
Lock alpha for the mini-references are on a separate layer.
You can erase the palette bubbles you do not need.
Use the mini references to show both sides on the cat if a cat is not symmetrical.
All three background boxes are on a separate layer.
The background boxes can have their colors changed and maintain the shape by turning on Lock Alpha.
All five parts of the eye reference are on a separate later.

Clans
WCA allows users to form their own clans. However, owning a clan is not a free service. To own a clan, you pay a one-time charge of 3 CS rares, develop clan lore, and send in the form provided down below.

What is Clan Lore?
Clan lore is really as simple as explaining why this group of cats left Oakclan to form their own clan.
Clan lore can also contain a map of the new clan territory and any rules you have set for those who wish to join your clan.

What is a Warrior Cat?
A warrior cat is a concept brought alive in the Warrior Cat book series by Erin Hunter. A Warrior Cat is a feral cat that lives within a clan with many other cats that live by a code of ethics.

What do the stats mean?
Heath - How healthy is your cat - do they have a preexisting condition
Strength - How physically powerful is your cat
Endurance - How well your cat handles tough tasks
Agility - How easily your cat can move fast
Defense - How well can your cat hold their own in a fight

How come LGTB+ cats can breed?
Starclan wants only the best for the clan cats, and because the clans need to thrive, Starclan has bestowed the gift of children to everyone.
