i'm going to make it a long one though to warn you

this is the story of a wolf named cross.she never did like her family.her brothers would always throw her around the place,slinging her into walls and the ground and every time they did another bone of hers would break.her parents didn't stop them,but instead sometimes they helped too.they hadn't wanted a girl and she was the only one so she was apparently destined for some pain.when she got a bit older she started to fight back but it didn't help her.she broke maybe a couple of their bones,but her...you couldn't count the ones that have been fractured then broke.after her many years of this pain she decided she would have to escape it before she was killed but that would be hard because by the time she tried,a broken bone would stop her.she suddenly had an idea.she would pretend to be sick,that would keep them off for a day for they knew if they tortured her while she was sick then she'd die and they wouldn't want that because they considered it fun to break almost every bone in her body.the next day she did so and knew that she must escape that night or they'd torture her again the next day.later that night every one was asleep.she crept out of the den,then saw another wolf coming so she ducked to the side in the trees,she only then realized what she saw wasn't another wolf,but it was humans.she didn't care if they caught her family so she kept going.she ran into something and thought it was a tree but looked up to find it was a human.it held a gun,not a regular gun but a tranquilizer gun.she felt a sharp sting in her back leg and fell to the ground feeling pain as she hit for she still had a few bones that hadn't quite fixed yet.she was loaded into a truck and taken to a zoo.she was put in a cage with other friendly wolves and then realized that the cage beside her held her family,and they knew she had tried to leave them as it was the final thing they found out before they too were tranquilized.when they woke up they weren't too happy and began to pester her through the bars of the cage anytime they could.one lazy thursday afternoon her family,not including her,got into a big fight and by the time the zoo keepers had pulled them apart the zoo was empty and only her father and one brother out of 7 had survived.the zoo keepers had the zoo closed the whole day the next day to clean out the cage and wait for their new arrival of wolves.as for her brother and father,they were tranquilized,brought to the imfermery and were never brought out.when she asked her cagemate what happened to them another wolf answered that they had been shot with a lethel injection as they were found and filed as too dangerous for zoo keeping.she got along with all her cage mates pretty well until one day when one wolf got a disease.it was a disease that caused the wolf to lose control but she could tell it wasn't rabies.it was a saturday and the zoo was closed on saturdays so the workers would leave a big pile of meat in the cage for them to eat and stay home those days,therefore they didn't know if a fight broke out that day.the wolf was out of control so she bit everything she could but that wolves cage-mates would have to put up a big fight ,and so they did.they tried the best they could and not including the out of control one they ended up going from 6 wolves in the cage to two.cross ,having to put up with torturous brothers, was one of the surviving two.she fought for the whole day and part of the night and had many,many injuries and so did the other wolf but her body was used to it,and though she didn't know the other wolf's past she figured it was too,and was happy to assume she wasn't the only wolf with a shameful past.she and that wolf decided that they had to escape that night or they'd end up like her brother and father.it was only then she realized there was no roof on her exhibit and there luckily was a rock in the corner that went up pretty high.she told the other wolf,who's name she figured out was santana,her plan.in moments they were climbing up the rock,to the top of the cage. santana let cross jump first in case a worker had came in early and she did. she had just barley made the landing without breaking a bone.she waited a couple of seconds and then santana was beside her.they walked along side walks until they found the entrance gate.they jumped up on the brick wall beside the gate then jumped off the other side.cross resisted the urge to howl with freedom in case someone heard her.they looked around them and saw woods to the east side of them and headed towards them.once in there she howled and so did santana they heard pawsteps as if there were a tornado coming and soon they were surrounded by wolves.santana wanted to be alpha of them but so did cross.they had helped each other escape and they had been friends since she had been brought to the zoo so they refused to fight for it.they decided it would be best if they made seperate packs,none more dangerous or dark then the other.they then both became an alpha but soon the wolves in their packs were fighting so she decided it would be completely peaceful for them to move away somewhere.after that she ran into more problems, her pack was challenging her authority.she was stronger than them but she couldn't bring herself to order anyone to do anything,and she could barely bring herself to kill when it was extremley necessary.the beta female was jealous and couldn't take it any more,she just had to see if she could take on her alpha.the next day cross got a surprise ,she was out hunting and concentrated on her pray when the beta female came down from a tree and bit into her back.she howled and rolled over to put the beta on the ground but her back was also facing the ground on top of her so the beta kicked her off her then darted towards her.cross quickly stood back up and ran towards the oncoming wolf ,pouncing on her and bringing her to the ground and bit into her shoulder.the beta ,star,yanked away then ran off fearing that she may not go much longer.cross demoted star to an omega and her mate remained a beta because once again she could not bring herself to punish him if he didn't do anything.she remained an alpha for a couple more years then found fear,another wolf.fear and cross instantly connected and he soon became male alpha,they had three pups and named them dusk,julie,and fern,dusk the only boy and the others girls and cross was perfectly content.cross eventually retired and dusk took the spot as alpha male and found himself a alpha female and the pack has lasted ever since.
