This is Grumps - a baby bird of unknown origin that I found myself having to look after 2 years ago. Luckily for (him? it?) I had a couple of ducklings at the time, who were more than happy to share their mealworms, powder-food and incubator. Grumps thrived, and within a month he learned to fly. The furious-looking bird had a habit of just appearing in various places around the house - first on my laptop, then my brother's shoulder...and, eventually, Grumps decided he'd had enough of being a pet, and he appeared in the cherry tree at the end of the garden. I left food for him on that tree every day, until he stopped coming back for it.
