Lightningbugs. Everywhere.
It's a warm summer night and you can barely get away from the ditzy little things. Little blinking bugs, as far as the eye can see and then some. They're practically lighting up the whole woods.
Near the biggest swath of them sits a little white blob, unmoving as the bugs surround it. It appears to be a moonrat, with five really fat lightning bugs stuck to it - or rather, it just has five very yellow eyes, that it keeps blinking open one at a time, almost in tune with the little bugs. Maybe it's holding a riveting conversation with them.
Or not. Whenever one gets close, the moonrat suddenly snaps to, crunching them up in its fuzzy little maw, before it goes back to silently blinking.
Yummeh.
[attempt to win the moonrat over with nonmoving food]
[catch some fireflies for it]
[pff, that doesn't look too hard. try to catch bugs with your eyeballs.]
[poke it, just to see what happens]
